Job Description : Applications are invited for Stipendiary Trainees (Category I & II) for training in BARC.
Category–I (As Scientific Assistant /B) : 09 posts
(UR-5,SC-2,ST-2)
(Mech. Engg. and Chemical Engg.)
Education : Diploma/ Licentiate in Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering (3 years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks
Age Limit : 19-24 years.
Pay : Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200
Category–II (As Technician/ B or C or D) : 22 posts
(UR-11, SC-3, ST-3, OBC-5)
Education : SSC or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Science and Mathematics Plus ITI certificate in Fitter/ Chemical Plant Operation of 2 years duration/ NCVT of 3 years duration.
Age Limit : 18-22 years
Pay : Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2800, 2400 or 2000.
Relaxation of five years in age is admissible to SC/ST and three years to OBC candidates.
Physical Standards : Minimum Height : 160 cms. , Minimum weight : 45.5 Kgs (Relaxable if the candidate is otherwise medically fit.)
Total Duration of Training Period : One year for Category I, and two years for Category II.
Stipend During Training : Rs. 9300/- p.m. for Category I, and Rs. 6200/- p.m for 1styear and Rs.7200/- p.m for 2nd year for Category II.
